The new umpire assessment morning will be held on Sunday, 15 February, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am (approximately). Information below for those interested in registering.
WDNA’s Beginner Umpire Program is open to new umpires aged 14 years old as of the first on-court session on 21 February who are part of the Waverley District community.
From the registered participants in each umpire assessment morning, a maximum of 10 will be selected to commence the program.
For participants who are successful in gaining a position, they are required to commit to and attend:
• One three-hour theory session between 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm on Friday, 20 February.
• Off-court education sessions each Saturday morning, when the competition is held for at least eight consecutive weeks (while at a beginner/Light Blue level)
Successful participants will also need to complete the Rules in Netball Theory exam and email their results to
umpires@wdna.com.au before week one (1st off-court session). This theory exam is available on Netball Connect
